The IET 1888+ Megohmmeter/IR Tester is designed for highly accurate measurements of high resistance and insulation resistance. Its large colour touchscreen and intuitive controls make it easy to use, while its extensive connectivity options (USB, Ethernet and GPIB) ensure seamless integration into automated test systems.
Precision and range
The 1888+ measures resistances from 1 kΩ to over 100 TΩ, depending on the test voltage setting. With a basic accuracy of 0.30%, it delivers reliable results for a wide range of applications. The test voltage is fully programmable from 1 to 1000 Vdc, making the instrument suitable for a wide range of components and materials. Automatic range selection and test cable zeroing prevent errors and increase accuracy.
User-friendly interface
The colour touchscreen offers both graphical and tabular displays of measurement results, making trends and values clearly visible. The operator can choose between displaying resistance or volume and surface resistance, with current and voltage also shown directly. The multi-functional keypad makes programming and performing measurements easy and efficient.
Automation and connectivity
For integration into test setups, the 1888+ features USB, Ethernet, and GPIB interfaces. The SCPI command set is largely identical to that of the 1865 Plus, allowing existing systems to be easily adapted. This makes the 1888+ ideal for laboratories and production environments where automation and compatibility are essential.
