A SAFE TEST ENVIRONMENT FOR TESTING BATTERIES

TTMS does not have any products in its range that deal with the safety of testing Li-ion batteries in particular. We do see the importance of a safe test environment. In all tests, your safety must always come first. This page provides you with this information.

Naturally, you should provide a clean and spacious testing area. If possible, use a special fireproof cabinet for the tests. If you want to test under different climate conditions, we recommend WEISS climate cabinets with special features for safely testing Li-ion batteries. We would also like to refer you to the WEISS presentation at the Energy Storage Event 2020.

Also make sure you have a special fire extinguisher for li-ion batteries.

To test these systems we have acquired two Cinergia GE/EL +120kVA eplus units capable of doing grid emulation (AC + DC), operating as an electronic load (AC +DC) and being a battery emulator.
