“We frequently use the power sources supplied by TT&MS for both our own laboratory and for the test systems of our customers. The power sources are used to test the cooling units and compressors for different mains voltages and frequencies. We always receive new questions from our customers for different capacities, ranges, etc. and TT&MS provides us with excellent advice about possible solutions. As an example, we often deal with short but high starting currents of the compressor motors. If a power source is chosen based only on the maximum nominal power, there is a good chance that it will not meet the requirements. What we also really appreciate is that TT&MS regularly brings a power source to us for evaluation. We control all our power sources via the computer and we are also well assisted in this by TT&MS. ABB Power Grids Jumet

“The ABB Power Grids Jumet organization is an innovative development and manufacturing facility of ABB that produces active filters and battery energy storage systems to support a stable grid. To test these systems we purchased two Cinergia GE/EL +120kVA eplus units capable of grid emulation (AC + DC), operating as an electronic load (AC +DC) and being a battery emulator. We experienced very good support from TTMS in obtaining these two Cinergia units. This included organizing an on-site demonstration and supplying loaner systems prior to the delivery of our final systems. This way we could start testing as early as possible. TTMS also organized training for the original manufacturer’s operators. Thanks to this support, we were able to introduce the first battery energy storage systems before the full supply of the Cinergia systems.”
