The Itech IT2800 series bipolar supply-measurement combination from ITECH consists of three compact benchtop models up to 1000V and 10A with the ability to generate and measure both voltage and current. This series is specifically marketed for accurate characterisation of semiconductors, passive components and material types in the four quadrants.

Six-in-one high-precision device, reduce your testing costs

To reduce cost and space, the IT2800 houses the capabilities of six devices in one housing. The IT2800 series combines the capabilities of a highly accurate voltage source, pulse generator and current source with the measurement capabilities of a precision voltage meter, current meter and 4-wire ohm meter. Performing IV measurements with conventional instruments is complicated and costly. It takes up more space on the test bench and requires a lot of user control to synchronise the driving of multiple devices and make accurate measurements. The IT2800 power-measurement combination offers engineers an economic and efficient solution with the integration of multiple source and measurement capabilities in one compact1/2 2U-sized enclosure.

Comprehensive sweep capabilities

The IT2800 series features both pre-programmed and self-programmable sweep functions. In standard sweep mode, linear and logarithmic sweeps, single and double sweeps, and constant pulsed sweeps are supported. Programming a sweep yourself is easy with the LIST function so that perfect customisation can be done when characterising components where the test response varies widely. The user can use Excel import or the control panel to generate sweep curves of any shape, where up to 99,999 data points can be imported.

User-friendly operation

The IT2800 features an excellent user interface with a 5-inch touch screen and various display modes that significantly improves testing efficiency. The IT2800 series supports both graphical and numerical display modes for measuring and displaying test results. The intuitive graphical display mode displays measurement results in XY graphs (such as I-V and V-t curves) on up to 2 channels. This is useful for quick evaluation of characteristics, especially those obtained from sweep measurements. The oscilloscope display draws I-t or V-t curves in real time during the test. The IT2800 can capture and export up to 600,000 data points. The sample rate is up to 100,000 points per second (10us), allowing the user to measure and monitor even low-frequency transient signals. The record view allows the user to view stored waveforms and table data over a specified period. The minimum interval is 100uS and up to 1 million data points can be recorded. Export to spreadsheets (.csv). for further analysis is also supported, significantly improving the efficiency of testing and debugging.

The IT2800 series combines automatic system integration (USB/LAN/Digital-IO) with desktop usage requirements. It is an excellent power-measurement combination to meet a wide variety of testing needs in R&D and university research as well as multi-channel automated production testing.
