The new Itech IT6600C/D series high-power DC Power Supplies

With the introduction of the IT6600C, bi-directional DC power supply and the IT6600D, DC power supply, Itech not only symbolises a new milestone in technological innovation, but also sets new standards in functionality and ease of operation.

Remarkably, the concept of high power density has also been redefined by using advanced, 3rd-generation, SiC technology. The Itech IT6600C/D series starts with a power of 42kW in a chassis only 3U high! This saves significantly on lab space and cabinet space. The IT6600C/D features two fully independent DC outputs of 21kW each. And both outputs can easily be switched in a series or parallel configuration.

Its ease of use and extensive functionality contribute to a dramatic improvement for both user and test efficiency. A high-performance, high-power table-top solution. But also ideally suited for integrated, high-power, power supplies with strict space requirements. With the IT6600C/D series, it is possible to realise power up to 420kW in just a single 19’ inch 37U cabinet. In parallel mode, up to 10 MegaWatt can be realised!

An important new feature is the redundancy function. In a multi-unit setup (N+1, N+2…), when a unit fails, the IT6600C/D system will allow the redundant unit to deploy it to guarantee the output power of the whole system.

The design of the Itech IT6600C/D series, bi-directional DC power supplies transcends the limitations of traditional DC power supplies and offers an innovative long-range solution. Currently, the series is available with output voltages up to 1,200V.
