Cinergia 19 inch Rack Mount Systems

Cinergia has now expanded its range to include 19″ versions of the particularly versatile regenerative converters. These versions also come with the latest SIC technology so we also see a significant improvement in specifications. For example, the bandwidth of this unit has been increased to 400Hz and harmonic distortions can be programmed to a maximum of 5kHz. In addition, both output current and output voltage ripple have been improved due to the higher switching frequency. And the efficiency of this unit has also been increased to nearly 94%.

Currently only the GE 30+ vAC/DC is available in a 19″ rack version. This grid emulator / bi-directional DC power supply has a capacity of 30kVA but soon we hope to introduce the other models and other capacities.

In grid emulator mode, the unit can be used as a constant voltage source for a 3 phase grid or single phase grid. It is also possible to switch to a multi-channel AC power supply with three independent channels. In regenerative bi-directional DC power supply mode we have a possibility of a single channel, three synchronized channels with separate values, a bipolar power supply (+- voltage) and three fully independent channels. These channels in turn can be programmed separately in CV, CC, CP and CR mode.

There is also supporting software for Battery emulation, Solar Array Simulation and Battery testing. This creates a unique solution suitable for most testing applications in renewable energy, Power Hardware in the Loop (PHIL), smart grids, batteries and electric vehicles.
