Cinergia
Cinergia is a 100% R&D company, where the DNA of innovation and entrepreneurship is the basis of everything they do. They develop power converters for the test and measurement sector.
Cinergia was founded in 2008 by a group of entrepreneurs with the aim to provide engineering services and power electronics solutions. In 2014, Cinergia launched a standard product catalogue and appointed its first distributors in Europe. An industrial partnership agreement with Salicru was signed at the production and R&D levels. 2018 was the year we launched the PLUS platform, an updated and improved version of the standard line based on a new control platform. In 2019-2020, we launched the PLUS2 platform and in 2021 the new Silicon Carbide Technology (SiC) units came to the market.
The productline does consist of:
Regenerative AC grid emulators
Regenerative AC/DC loads
Regenerative Bi-directional DC power supplies
And combinations of all these units.
There are special firmware options for supporting different test solutions like:
PV-panel emulation
Battery emulation
Battery testing
Harmonic and Flicker testing
LVRT
DC power supplies
AC power supplies
AC electronic loads
Battery chargers/discharges
DC electronic loads
The complete product line is based on a hardware platform designed to work 24/7 and 365 days per year. Regular maintenance is not requested except in harsh environments. Such combination of high-quality components and a thoughtful design has produced a very robust competitive power platform with low service time and maintenance needs.
The hardware is combined with state of the art software. The interface has been designed to be intuitive and easy to use, capable to offer total control over the equipment while giving access to the multiple functionalities and allowing configuration of limits and alarms. To facilitate integration into an automated testing platform, they provide a communications protocol, drivers and an open-source.
Because of the regenerative technology there is a reduction of both the consumed energy during the tests and the power required from the electrical installation.
