Signaltec’s MCTS II Multi Channel Current Transducer System provides a highly flexible and accurate solution for measuring high currents in both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) applications. This system is designed for use in demanding industrial and test environments where accurate and reliable current measurements are essential. With the ability to accommodate up to six current sensor channels in one rack, the MCTS II provides a scalable and modular solution for measuring multiple currents simultaneously.

The MCTS II is equipped with galvanically separated channels, providing added safety and accuracy even when measuring in multiple current circuits. Each channel is individually powered, and the status of the transducers can be read via status LEDs on the front panel or read via a status interface. This makes it easy to monitor in real time whether a transducer is functioning correctly and not overloaded, for example.

The 19-inch housing of the MCTS II, accommodates the power supply for the transducers and is rugged and easy to install. The system is compatible with a wide range of transducers, ranging from 100 A to 2000 A, making it versatile enough for a wide range of applications, such as power management, electric vehicle testing and industrial monitoring.

The MCTS II can be equipped with passive or active load modules, depending on the user’s needs. For systems requiring a higher output voltage, the active plug-on burden modules provide a voltage of 7 Vrms, providing accurate voltage at higher loads. This makes the system ideal for use with measuring instruments that require higher signal levels.

With a supply voltage of 100-240 VAC and a maximum power of 175 W (when fully configured with six channels), the MCTS II is energy-efficient and suitable for long-term use. The system can be expanded with optional cables and burden resistors, depending on the specific configuration required for the application.

The MCTS II Multi Channel Current Transducer System provides a powerful and flexible solution for accurate current measurements. With its modular design and extensive capabilities, it is ideal for a variety of applications, from electrical testing to industrial monitoring.
