The Itech IT8900G/L series is a powerful and versatile DC electronic load designed for testing modern energy and electronic systems. High power and scalability
The IT8900G/L supports voltage ranges of 150V, 600V and 1200V, and current capacities of up to 600A per unit. Its modular design and parallel connection capability allows multiple units to work together without loss of functionality, resulting in seamless scalability up to 600 kW. The unit has a high power density, with a 4U unit delivering up to 6 kW, and larger racks up to 54 kW. This electronic load offers exceptional performance with fast rise and fall current and a dynamic operating mode of up to 30 kHz. This makes it ideal for tests such as transient response of DC-DC converters and inrush current tests of batteries.
Due to the extremely low internal resistance of only 0.7 mΩ (for 150V models), the load can still be used at voltages of 0.1V (60A) and 0.75V (600A). This makes the unit particularly suitable for testing fuel cells, supercapacitors, solar cells, DC-DC converters and other low voltage and high current electronic devices.
The accuracy of current and voltage measurements is comparable to that of advanced oscilloscopes, with a measurement time of up to 10 µs and a resolution of 1 mV/1 mA.
With eight different operating modes, including constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR) and constant power (CP) modes, the IT8900G/L can be adapted to a wide range of test requirements. Combined modes, such as CV+CC and CR+CC, enable complex testing, such as simulating battery charging stations and on-board chargers. In addition, the IT8900G/L supports battery discharge functions, allowing accurate monitoring of discharge voltage, capacity and time.
The IT8900G/L is equipped with a wide range of protection functions, including heating protection (OTP), current protection (OCP), power protection (OPP) and reverse polarity protection. In addition, the device offers built-in communication options such as LAN, USB, RS232, CAN and GPIB, enabling seamless integration into complex test systems. Programmable list and dynamic modes allow users to create complex voltage and current sequences to test devices under different conditions.
