The Itech IT-N6700 Series is a powerful range of programmable DC power supplies designed for modern test environments where high power density, precise control, and compact dimensions are essential. With power options of 1000 W and 1500 W and a wide voltage range of 32 V, 80 V, 150 V, 300 V, 600 V, 1000 V, and 1500 V, this series offers exceptional flexibility for applications in ATE systems, semiconductor research, power electronics, automotive electronics, and production test lines. Thanks to its compact 1/2-rack 2U form factor, the IT-N6700 delivers powerful performance in confined spaces without compromising on functionality. Each power supply in the IT-N6700 series is equipped with a 4.3-inch LCD screen that displays not only the standard numerical values but also real-time trend graphs of voltage, current, and power.
Test Capabilities
The series supports the three main operating modes: constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), and constant power (CP). For test objects with specific dynamic requirements, voltage rise and fall rates can be set, which is particularly useful for sensitive semiconductors or fast DC-DC converters. The built-in LIST function allows for the programming of complex sequences with up to one hundred steps, where each step can have its own duration, voltage, current, and ramp rate. Up to ten different sequence files can be saved and executed immediately.
An important feature is the CC/CV priority, which allows the power supply to adapt to the behavior of the test object. In CV priority mode, the power supply responds more quickly to voltage changes, which is ideal for applications that require rapid voltage ramp-up. With CC priority, peak current is limited and inrush currents are suppressed, which is crucial for sensitive electronics and semiconductors. By selecting the appropriate priority, the stability of the control loop is improved and the DUT is better protected.
The IT-N6700 series offers a wide range of protections, including overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, undercurrent, overpower, overtemperature, and foldback protection. The IT-N6700 series comes standard with USB, LAN, RS-232, and digital I/O. The rear panel features rugged DC output terminals, remote-sense connections, and an AC input connector.
Applications in modern test environments
The IT-N6700 series is suitable for a wide range of applications. In automotive electronics, the power supply is used for testing ECUs, sensors, DC-DC modules, and 48-volt systems, where precise voltage regulation and protection against inrush currents are essential. In semiconductor and power IC testing, the power supply provides a stable and accurate source for characterization, burn-in, and validation.
