Itech IT-M3100 Ultra Compact Wide range DC power supplies

Itech’s IT-M3100 ultra compact DC power supplies come in a very compact housing of ½ 19″ rack width and 1U height. The different IT-M3100 models are available in voltage ranges from 0 to 20V, 30V, 80V, 150V, 300V and 600V at 400W and 850W capacities. If higher powers are required, up to 4 units can be connected in parallel in a Master-Slave configuration. This without affecting the excellent performance for rise time and accuracy. The multi-channel power design of the IT-M3100 makes it possible to control 16 units independently with a single interface. The modular design with side ventilation makes it easy to stack these DC power supplies.

CONSTANT POWER PRINCIPLE

Due to the constant power principle, the IT-M3100 can be used over a wide range while maintaining maximum power. At low voltages the full current range is available. But also high voltages are possible at a reduced current range. This makes the unit suitable for a wide range of applications.
The IT-M3100 series power supplies are OVP, OCP, OPP and OTP protected.
Optional interfaces such as RS232, RS485, CAN, LAN, USB_TMC and VCP are available. Most communication protocols are supported, including CANOPEN, SCPI and LXI.

BATTERY TESTING

For safe battery testing with the IT-M3100 it is possible to set limits on voltage, current, capacity and charging time. If these limits are exceeded, stop the power supply with its charging cycle. Using the software, the voltage, charging time and capacity of the battery can be monitored.

The units are easily programmable and have a LIST mode to program sequences of up to 100 different steps. With the TRACE FUNCTION, the graphical display of voltage and current can be monitored in real time.

All this in a compact housing makes this power supply extremely suitable for space-saving installation in automatic test systems for multi-channel testing, but it can also be perfectly used as a stackable tabletop model on test benches.
