ISOTECH BLACK BODY SOURCE MODEL 989, THE CALIBRATOR FOR NON-CONTACT FEVER THERMOMETERS.

Isotech introduces the updated black body source model 989. This model is ideally suited as a reference for the calibration of so-called medical non-contact thermometers used to determine body temperatures. Very up to date in regard to the Covid-19 regulations. The model Black Body Source 989 meets the worldwide demand for a simple but highly accurate reference standard.

The temperature of the 70 mm diameter target can be set from 20°C to 50°C with a resolution of 0.01°C with a stability of 10 mK.

The Isotech 989 Black Body Source is suitable as a black body source for placing on a tripod or for ceiling mounting. This makes it easy to set up this black body source as a permanent reference in airports and hospitals where the body temperature of persons has to be measured frequently.

The optionally available extension tube contributes to a better uniformity and a reduced sensitivity to draughts and other effects on the ambient temperature.

This makes it a particularly interesting and functional instrument.
