PLA series DC loads from H&H

H&H has further expanded its range of DC loads with the new PLA series. The units have a classic appearance with a relatively large display. Inside, however, state-of-the-art technology has been used and a range of interface options is also available (Ethernet, USB, RS232, analogue I/O and CAN).

There are 12 models available with voltages ranging from 60V to as high as 800V at outputs of 200W and 400W. The minimum voltage to draw the maximum current is only 1.4V. These loads are also temporarily overloadable (versions up to 300V).

The units can operate in constant current, constant voltage, constant power and constant resistance mode. Optionally, there is also an MPPT option. Limit values for voltage and current are adjustable.

It is also possible to perform dynamic loads through a list of setpoints(max 100). Besides logging via all data interfaces, it is also possible to store data locally (up to 100 measurements).

The PLA series complements the existing PLI series, which was introduced earlier (power ratings from 600W to 28.8kW).
