Regenerative AC loads

Regenerative AC loads represent a more advanced category of AC electrical loads that are capable of not only electrically loading, but also feeding the energy released in the process back to the power grid. So where conventional loads converted the energy into heat, now the energy is reused. This results in double savings because the energy is reused and no air conditioning is needed to cool the test room.

Regenerative AC loads are mainly for higher power ratings.
These include power ratings from 7.5kVA to 1200kVA. The frequency range runs to max 2400Hz and the voltage ranges from 277Vl-n to 440Vl-n, allowing us to test any standard grid in the world.
The regenerative AC loads in our range can be used as a DC load in addition to AC. And with some units even with the addition of an AC+DC load and a DC+AC load. All loads have a Constant Current, Constant Voltage, Constant Power and Constant Resistance mode.

Applications of regenerative AC loads include testing UPS systems, (solar) inverters, frequency converters, AC generators and AC power supplies.
