The Itech IT-M7700 High Performance programmable AC power supplies combine intelligence with a high degree of flexibility in a compact housing. The built-in power meter and the arbitrary waveform generator ensure that the IT-M7700 can be used for the most demanding applications. Think of simulating a disturbed mains voltage, for testing vital medical equipment but also, for example, for conformity testing of the electronics in an aircraft. The IT-M7700 can also offer a solution for performing IEC standard tests on household appliances.

What makes the ITECH IT-M7700 so special?

The IT-M7700 is still available in two models with capacities of 300VA and 600VA.
Both power supplies fit in a ½ wide 19″ rack module of 1U high. This makes the power supply very interesting for installation in automatic test systems.

In AC mode a frequency up to 1000Hz can be generated. Additional, the power supply can also function in DC mode and there is even an AC+DC mode where a DC-offset can easily be given to an AC signal. With the included software you can easily create any kind of waveform and also arbitrary waveform. Using the LIST mode, for example, you can create sequences with different settings and waveforms for specific tests.


The software also makes it possible to perform EMC tests according to IEC standards 61000-4-11, 13, 14, 17 and 28. Also commercial and military aviation conformity tests according to ABD 0100, ABD A350, ABD AMD24, Boeing 787, DO-160D, MIL-STD-704F and 1399-300B are programmed as standard in the software. The built-in power meter makes it possible to easily measure voltage, current, frequency, active power and power factor.

The comprehensive IT-M7700 is a very complete AC power supply / DC power supply / Harmonic generator and Power analyzer in one. A true all-rounder.

"The ABB Power Grids Jumet organisation is an innovative development and production facility of ABB that manufactures active filters and battery energy storage systems to support a stable grid. To test these systems we have acquired two Cinergia GE/EL +120kVA eplus units capable of doing grid emulation (AC + DC), operating as an electronic load (AC +DC) and being a battery emulator.
