PCI express digitizers from Spectrum.
Spectrum PCI express digitizers are available with 8-bit, 14-bit and 16-bit resolution.
And that with data acquisition speeds of 5MS/sec up to 1.5GS/sec/channel. These digitizers are specifically designed for applications with many channels and fast data transfer to PC memory (up to 3GB/sec).
For example 1, 2, 4 or 8 channels per card, by applying FIFO mode the data acquisition and transfer to the PC memory can take place simultaneously.
All Spectrum PCI express digitizers also have acquisition modes such as Multiple recording (segmented memory), Gated sampling and ABA mode (sample rate switching) for data reduction.
Extensive triggering possibilities including AND/OR triggering with the digital channels are among the possibilities.
In all the new digitizers there are also a number of specific options such as Averification and Peak detect available for data reduction.
All digitizers can optionally also be expanded with digital I/O channels.
SCAPP option.
The latest versions of the PCI express digitizers do also have the SCAPP (Spectrum’s CUDA Access for Parallel Processing) option. This specific option is intended for applications with extreme data processing requirements. After streaming the data to the CUDA multi cores processing card, “real time” calculations can take place.
Think of extensive FFT’s, resources, peak detection, but also the more advanced calculations like integration, differentiation etc.
Software.
All PCI express digitizers come with an extensive package of software support. Drivers for Windows and Linux operating systems (32 bit and 64 bit) are included.
Example programs and drivers for C/C++, LabVIEW (Windows), MATLAB (Windows and Linux), LabWindows/CVI, IVI, .NET, Delphi, Visual Basic and Python are available.
And a base license of the Spectrum software SBench 6.
