The Spectrum M4i.441x-8 series digitizer cards are 16-bit digitizers with a maximum sample rate of 130MS/sec. Depending on the model you have up to 4 channels. Up to 8 M4i.441x cards can be synchronized in one system. Synchronization with the digital I/O cards and arbitrary waveform generators of the M4i series is also possible. All M4i.441x cards have up to 4GSample on board memory. In FIFO mode it is possible to simultaneously send data to PC memory and read new data. Due to the PCI-x8 or x16 interface this can be done with a maximum data transfer rate of 3.4GB/sec. Data reduction is also possible with the option averager and peak detect.

All Spectrum digitizer cards also have acquisition modes such as Multiple recording (segmented memory), Gated sampling and ABA mode (sample rate switching) for data reduction.
All digitizers come with an extensive package of software support. Drivers for Windows and Linux operating systems (32 bit and 64 bit) are included. Example programs and drivers for C/C++, LabVIEW (Windows), MATLAB (Windows and Linux), LabWindows/CVI, IVI, .NET, Delphi, Visual Basic and Python are available. And a basic license of the Spectrum software SBench 6.

"The ABB Power Grids Jumet organisation is an innovative development and production facility of ABB that manufactures active filters and battery energy storage systems to support a stable grid. To test these systems we have acquired two Cinergia GE/EL +120kVA eplus units capable of doing grid emulation (AC + DC), operating as an electronic load (AC +DC) and being a battery emulator.
