The Vitrek PA900 Precision Harmonic Power Analyzer is a surprisingly user friendly and affordable high performance power analyzer. The PA900 is a multichannel, high accuracy, high bandwidth power analyzer designed to meet the toughest energy measurement applications.

The new Vitrek PA900 color touchscreen user interface is very easy-to-use. The accuracy of the PA900 is truly world class and surpasses rival instruments costing triple the price. In speed and bandwidth the PA900 tops the charts with measurement bandwidths sufficient to handle 5 MHz waveforms and 100 full precision readings per second. To meet tough power factor, low phase angle and high crest factor loads the PA900 is unbeatable. Full performance is offered for crest factors as high as 30:1. The advantage of superior power measurement capability is placed squarely in the palm of your hands by the PA900 or at the tip of your finger if you prefer.

Vitrek PA900-Harmonics

To tackle advanced power harmonics requirements the PA900 displays up to 500 harmonics even at aviation power frequencies. The chart can be set to show various amplitudes: linear, relative linear, logarithmic or relative logarithmic.

Vitrek PA900-Scope

Similar to a digital oscilloscope, Scope View enables analysis and waveform acquisition. Six signals each having user selectable scaling, offset and color can be displayed. The timebase, trigger and trigger position are user selectable. With amplitude accuracies as high as 0.03% however it is are unlikely to find any other scope with this high precision.

Vitrek PA900-Vectors

The vectors screen shows a polar chart that graphically displays fundamental voltage and current vectors for the selected channel or group of channels.

A large set of channel cards includes High Current, Hi Accuracy, Wideband, Single and Dual Current cards and a MT type Channel Card for motor torque and speed inputs. The harmonics capability can be extended to 500 and EN61000 compliance computations can be added.

"The ABB Power Grids Jumet organisation is an innovative development and production facility of ABB that manufactures active filters and battery energy storage systems to support a stable grid. To test these systems we have acquired two Cinergia GE/EL +120kVA eplus units capable of doing grid emulation (AC + DC), operating as an electronic load (AC +DC) and being a battery emulator. We have experienced very good support from TTMS in obtaining these two Cinergia units. This included organising an on-site demonstration and supplying loan systems prior to the delivery of our final systems. This way we could start testing as early as possible. TTMS also organised training for the operators from the original manufacturer. This support allowed us to introduce the first battery energy storage systems even prior to the full delivery of the Cinergia systems."
