The TGF4000 series is the latest series of Aim-TTi arbitrary function generators with industry-leading performance and unrivalled value for money. The series consists of four models with a frequency range of 40MHz, 80MHz, 160MHz and 240 MHz. The frequency is adjustable with a resolution of 1µHz.

The TGF4000 has two identical programmable channels that can function as independent generators or in an associated voltage and phase functionality. A phase shift between the channels can be set between -360° and +360° with a resolution of 0.001°.

Many standard waveforms

A wide range of built-in waveforms is included including, Sine, Square, Pulse, Disaster, Arbitrary and Noise. In addition to these standard waveforms, the units are equipped with special waveforms such as Harmonic waveforms and Pseudo-Random Bit Sequence waveform. And of course all models have the possibility of arbitrary waveforms with a maximum resolution of 16-bit resolution and a sample rate up to 800Msa/sec. There is also an extensive range of modulation possibilities. Both analog and digital. And then there are the gated, burst and sweep modes. These can be triggered both internally and externally.

PC software

Simple arbitrary waveforms can be created on the generator itself, but if you want to create particularly complex waveforms you can do so with the standard Waveform Manager Plus software.

Waveforms can be created using mathematical descriptions, drawn by hand, a combination of existing waveforms from memory or even using imported waveforms. Control of the TGF4000 series arbitrary function generators can be via USB and LXI-compliant to the LAN standard. If required, a GPIB interface is also available as an option.

"The ABB Power Grids Jumet organisation is an innovative development and production facility of ABB that manufactures active filters and battery energy storage systems to support a stable grid.
