PXI Digitizers are part of Spectrum’s digitizers range. ‘Digitizers’ is an umbrella term for instruments that convert an analog signal into a digital equivalent by means of an analog-to-digital converter. Therefore, digital oscilloscopes and digital transient recorders also belong to this category.
Spectrum PXI digitizers are available in 8-bit, 12-bit, 14-bit, and 16-bit resolution. These PXI digitizers are specifically designed for applications with many channels. Data acquisition and transfer to PC memory can take place simultaneously by use of the FIFO mode.
All Spectrum PXI digitizers come with acquisition modes, such as multiple recording (segmented memory), gated sampling, and ABA mode (sample rate switching) for data reduction.
Specific options, such as Averiging and Peak detection options, are available for data reduction in the latest cards. Both PCI and PCIexpress versions are available.
All cards are supplied with extensive software support. Drivers for Windows and Linux (32 bit and 64 bit) operating systems are included. Exemplary programs and drivers for C / C ++, LabVIEW (Windows), MATLAB (Windows and Linux), LabWindows / CVI, IVI, .NET, Delphi, Visual Basic, and Python are available. A basic Spectrum software SBench 6 license is included as well.
Besides PXI digitizers, Spectrum also offers an extensive range of PCI, cPCI, and LXI digitizers.
We don’t buy measuring instruments, we purchase solutions for specific measurement problems. I like to buy from TTMS, given their knowledge of test solutions in power electronics. I hate sellers. TTMS helps us to make the right choice. They even come up with instrumentation from manufacturers they do not represent themselves. And always with the perfect service: they are not complicated and just arrange what is needed.

In my role within the calibration and quality lab, it is a continuous striving for quality for me. In order to ensure this, the right support from, amongst others, suppliers is essential. TTMS understands this like no other, and I have been doing business with them for years. If I need to describe the business relationship with TTMS, it would be that it’s both constructive and instinctive. The measurement instrumentation is reliable.
In addition to this, TTMS’ expertise of test and measuring equipment complements the STCA.
