Spectrum M4i.77xx-x8

The Spectrum M4i.77xx-x8 series digital input cards are extremely fast Logic Analyzer cards. Asynchronous sampling can be performed with a clock speed of up to 720MB/sec and synchronous up to 700MB/sec. The M4i.77xx cards are available in 32 channels single ended or differential. Up to 8 cards can be synchronized in one system. Synchronization with the analogue data acquisition maps from the M4i Series is also possible. All cards in the M4i.77xx-x8 series have 4GB on board memory.

The M4i. 77xx-x8 models are:

Model #   Interface  Channels    Async   Sync
 M4i.7710-x8  Single-Ended  32  125 MBit/s  125 MBit/s
 M4i.7720-x8  Single-Ended  32  250 MBit/s  250 MBit/s
 M4i.7730-x8  Single-Ended  32  720 MBit/s  700 MBit/s
 M4i.7725-x8  Differential  32  250 MBit/s  250 MBit/s
 M4i.7735-x8  Differential  32  720 MBit/s  700 MBit/s

The Spectrum M4i.77xx-x8 series digital input cards are only suitable for a PCI-express 8 lane or 16 lane slot. The maximum data troughput to memory will then be 3.4GB/sec. Like all digital Spectrum I/O cards, acquisition also has M4i. 77xx-x8 samples modes such as Multiple recording (segmented memory) and Gated sampling mode. Extensive trigger possibilities such as pattern triggering and external triggering are standard.

The M4i. 77xx-x8 cards come with a extensive package of software support. Drivers for Windows and Linux operating systems (32-bit and 64-bit) are included. Example programs and drivers for C/C+++, LabVIEW (Windows), MATLAB (Windows and Linux), LabWindows/CVI, IVI,. NET, Delphi, Visual Basic and Python are available, as well as a basic licence of the Spectrum software SBench 6.
