Meet the power of ten and discover the Rohde & Schwarz RTA4000 series of digital oscilloscopes: ten bit ADC to see signals in more detail; ten times more memory with 1 Gsample standard memory depth to capture longer time periods and a 10″ capacitive touch screen for good display of the measured signals.
In the design of the RTA4000 series, signal integrity was paramount. The 10-bit A/D converter delivers four times the resolution of conventional 8-bit A/D converters. Due to the very low input noise, users can benefit from this extra vertical resolution. You get sharper waveforms with more signal details.
With traditional digital oscilloscopes you had to choose between deep memory length with the disadvantage of a slow update rate of the display. With the RTA4000 oscilloscope, however, this trade off is completely over. The RTA4000 doesn’t let you choose, but offers a fast update frequency and ultra-deep memory to take on any challenge that may arise in your application. 100 Msample memory depth is available on every channel when all channels are active. With interleave, 200 Msample are available to store even longer signal strings for more analysis results. Optionally, this can be extended to 1GSample. And at an update rate of 64,000 waveforms per second (or 700,000 waveforms per second in fast segmented memory mode).
All these waveforms are made visible at a high resolution (1280 x 800) 10.1 inch, capacitive touchscreen. In addition to the beautiful display of the signals, this also simplifies the operation.
A RTA4000 series oscilloscope is more than just an oscilloscope. It also includes a logic analyzer (16 channels), a protocol analyzer with decoding (I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN and many others), a spectrum analyzer, a waveform and pattern generator and a digital voltmeter. A large capacitive, high-resolution touchscreen and an acclaimed user interface makes it easy to use all of these tools.
By default, each RTA4000 series oscilloscope has four channels with a sampling rate of 2.5 Gsample/s per channel, with interleave to achieve a maximum speed of 5 Gsample/s with two active channels. The low noise input amplifiers have a range of 500 µV/div to 10 V/div over the entire bandwidth range. The bandwidth starts with 200 MHz models which can be upgraded to 350 MHz, 500MHz or 1GHz at a later stage.
Further expansion possibilities are: logic analyzer (MSO), arbitrary waveform generator / pattern generator, serial triggering and decoding for I²C/SPI, UART/RS-232/RS-422/RS-485, CAN/LIN, Audio (I2S, LJ, RJ, TRM), MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC429, history and segmented memory, spectrum analyzer, spectrogram and power analyzer.
And of course a complete line of probes and accessories. Passive probes, active probes, logic probes, current probes, high voltage probes and near field probes. For a complete overview I refer you to the probes and accessories page for R&S oscilloscopes.

ABB
"The ABB Power Grids Jumet organisation is an innovative development and production facility of ABB that manufactures active filters and battery energy storage systems to support a stable grid. To test these systems we have acquired two Cinergia GE/EL +120kVA eplus units capable of doing grid emulation (AC + DC), operating as an electronic load (AC +DC) and being a battery emulator. We have experienced very good support from TTMS in obtaining these two Cinergia units. This included organising an on-site demonstration and supplying loan systems prior to the delivery of our final systems. This way we could start testing as early as possible. TTMS also organised training for the operators from the original manufacturer. This support allowed us to introduce the first battery energy storage systems even prior to the full delivery of the Cinergia systems."

“At the Energy and Environment department of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) of the University of Luxembourg we do have different research projects related to green energy contributing to the development of eco-cities. As a long-standing partner of our research unit, TT&MS has proven that they are able to answer even the most complex questions in a professional manner. They have shown that they are always up to date with the latest technology and do not spare any effort to look at the application and even the situation on site. The exchange of ideas was always very pleasant and took place quickly. We look forward to further years of fruitful cooperation.”
