Meet the power of ten and discover the R&S RTM3000 series digital oscilloscopes: ten bit ADC to see signals in more detail; ten times more memory to capture longer time periods and a 10″ capacitive touchscreen for a good overview.
The display of the RTM3000 has a size of 10.1 inch and the highest resolution in its class (1280 x 800 pixels). The capacitive touchscreen works just like your smartphone: touch the screen to quickly navigate in pop-up menus. Using finger movements a waveform can easily be scaled, zoomed in and moved.
The 10-bit A/D converter delivers four times the resolution of conventional 8-bit A/D converters. You get sharper waveforms with more signal details.
40 Msample memory depth is available on each channel when all channels are active. Interleaved, 80 Msample is available to store even longer signal sequences for more analysis results. Optionally, this can be expanded to 400 Msample memory.
The RTM3000 series from Rohde & Schwarz is more than just an oscilloscope. It includes a logic analyzer, protocol analyzer, waveform and pattern generator, digital voltmeter and special applications for frequency analysis, mask testing and long data acquisition. You can quickly and efficiently debug all kinds of electronic systems. By default, the oscilloscope is equipped with two or four channels, each with a sample rate of 2.5 Gsample/s per channel. With interleave a maximum speed of 5 Gsample/s can be achieved with one active channel. Furthermore, the RTM3000 offers the possibility of 16 digital channels with 5 Gsample/s. The low noise input amplifiers have a range of 500 µV/div to 10 V/div. For perfect connections to any DUT, the RTM3000 series has a probe interface for all Rohde & Schwarz probes.

The RTM3000 series base unit starts with 100 MHz bandwidth and is available with two or four channels.
This model can be upgraded to 200, 350, 500 MHz or 1 GHz bandwidth by means of an option. Further expansion possibilities are: Logic analysis (MSO), AWG and pattern generator, Serial triggering and decoding for I²C/SPI, UART/RS-232/RS-422/RS-485, CAN/LIN, Audio (I2S, LJ, RJ, TRM), MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC429, History and Segmented Memory, Spectrum analysis and Spectrogram and Power analysis. This means that the R&S RTM3000 complies with the always important rule of protecting your investment; your oscilloscope can always be upgraded later with attractive options for the latest developments in the market in terms of bandwidth, trigger and decoding possibilities and special applications.
