MI 9400L SERIES OF FLUID BATHS
Measurements International’s range of fluid baths is used for the maintenance of standard resistances and shunts. The MI 9400L was designed after years of customer feedback on existing resistance baths. The result is a stable, quiet oil bath that can be used with the CCC and QHR due to its low electrical noise and low operating and maintenance costs.
SILENT INSTRUMENT
The 9400L does not use a compressor and is therefore both audible and electrically very quiet. The one-piece stainless steel tank is earthed and insulated from the anodized resistance board. Two adjustable speed motors do the agitating. The tank cover is insulated and sits on top of a resistance drain board. The access opening is 25″ by 23″ for easy access to handle larger resistors.
INTERFACE MI 9400L
The touch screen interface displays the temperature and allows the user to access the PID to adjust the alarm settings and stir the speed of the Standard Resistance oil bath MI9400L. The exclusive design uses a proprietary temperature band protection circuit.
CONNECTIONS
The bath is equipped with two drain and fill connections. An optional pump system, model 9400-P, can be used to fill or drain the bath and contains a filtration system to filter waste from the tank.
There are two vertical feed-through ports for resistance cables and to minimize wear and tear. These ports keep the tank cover in place for higher temperature stability. For easy connections to resistors and shunts, see the Model 9400-I Inter Connect Panel and for safely holding your standard resistors.
