The Magna-Power SL series DC power supplies 1.5 kW – 10.0 kW

The Magna-Power SL series DC power supplies 1.5 kW to 10.0 kW consist of no less than 127 different models. Striking for the SL series is the standard size: 19 inches wide at a height of only 1U. Available with an output voltage from 0-5 Vdc to 0-1500 Vdc and an output current from 0-1.5 Adc to 0-250 Adc. Of course, the SL series DC power supplies also have remote sense connections. The 1.5kW models have a universal input (85 – 265 Vac, single phase).

Current FED power processing technology

All Magna-Power DC power supplies are based on Current FED power processing technology. This guarantees reliable power conversion with high efficiency. All DC power supplies are standard equipped with an RS232 interface. Optionally, a GPIB interface or LXI interface is also possible. The 37-pin insulated I/O connector also allows analog control of the power supply. By default, the analog control is suitable for only a few hertz but with the High Speed option this will be 60Hz for low voltage and 45Hz for small current changes.

The standard version can be operated via the front panel with rotary switches and contains two digital displays for the display of voltage and current. In the so-called -C version, the front panel is completely blank and can only be operated via the remote interface or the analog I/O. With the UID47 (Universal Interface Device) option, it is possible to parallel multiple units for more power.

Capacities

The Magna-Power SL series DC power supplies are available in the capacities 1.5kW, 2.6kW, 4kW, 6kW, 8kW and 10kW.
The voltages range from 5V, 10V, 10V, 16V, 16V, 20V, 25V, 32V, 32V, 40V, 50V, 50V, 60V, 80V, 100V, 100V, 125V, 160V, 160V, 200V, 250V, 250V, 300V, 375V, 375V, 400V, 500V, 500V, 600V, 800V, 1000V, 1250V and 1500V.

The SL series is part of Magna-Power’s impressive line of programmable DC power supplies, which are available with an output voltage up to 10 kV, electrical currents up to 24 kA, and versions up to 2 MWatt +.
