M642 PROGRAMMABLE RESISTANCE DECADE OF MEATEST
Meatest’s M642 programmable resistance decade has a range of 0.1 Ω at 20 MΩ. Basic accuracy is 0.02 % and the best resolution over the lowest range is 1 μΩ.
The decadebank consists of “high load” resistors switched by relays. Apart from the resistor, the M642 can also be used as an RTD temperature sensor simulator (temperature setting in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit). The instrument can be controlled via RS232, USB, LAN or GPIB interface.
The resistance decadebank is used in industry as an instrument for resistance based sensor simulation, as an ohmmeter and for multimeter testing and quality testing.
