The Elettrotest TPS series three-phase AC power supplies consist of a complete series of 6 models in the power range from 10kVA to 90kVA. The names of the different models differs considerably in this range and this has to do with the possibility of switching between inrush mode and continuous mode. For example, the low-power units make it possible to supply up to 3x the rated current as inrush current for a maximum of 3 seconds. For applications with inductive and capacitive loads, this is a major advantage over traditional AC power supplies. Consider, for example, controlling motors, compressors and high power switch mode power supplies, where the initial current is often significantly higher than the rated current.

There are two voltage ranges: 0-150V and 0-300V. The frequency range is from 10 to 80Hz. With the majority of 3-phase AC power supplies in the TPS series, the output is switchable from 3-phase to 1-phase.
These AC power supplies have an RS-232 interface as standard. Optionally a GPIB/RS485 or LAN interface is available.
A Labview driver is available if you want to use this AC power supply in an automated environment. The power supplies are protected against short circuit, overload and too high temperature.
