Home » Chroma 61700 Series three-phase AC power supplies
Chroma ATE carries three sets of programmable three-phase AC power supplies, increasing in a power range from 1500 VA to 12 kVA. These Chroma 61700 series three-phase AC power supplies consist of five models increasing in power from 1500VA to 12kVA.
The output voltage (L-N) can be set for each phase between 0-150Vrms and 0-300Vrms and each phase can be set individually. In the 0 to 150Vrms range, the maximum current is doubled compared to the 0 to 300Vrms range. Because of the adjustable angular rotation per phase, these three-phase AC power supplies are suitable for simulating an imbalance. The frequency is adjustable from 15Hz to 1200Hz. By default, the units are protected for OP, OV, OC and OT. The 61700 series has a so-called directly linked output stage, which makes it possible to generate a DC voltage or AC+DC output voltage. However, the output power in DC mode is limited to half of the maximum power. The 1500VA and 3000VA units can also be connected to a single phase input. The unit can be controlled and is readable via an optional digital interface (RS232 + GPIB or USB + LAN) and the free software software. Of course, there are also Labview drivers available if you want to integrate the unit into your own test setup. All Chroma AC power supplies have a separate measurement function for the quantities U, I, Hz, W, VA, VAR and PF. Do you need a power analyser for your application? TTMS also carries an extensive range of power meters.
Characteristic for Chroma ATE’s 61700 series is the option PLD (Power Line Disturbance). This option allows you to deliberately simulate disruptions. Due to the relatively low power levels in this series, this 3-phase AC power supply is also particularly suitable for use in Avionica (aviation) and maritime R&D applications.
For the heavier (12kVA to 90kVA) three-phase AC power supplies from Chroma we refer you to the 61611 and 61612 units with master slave options.

ABB
"The ABB Power Grids Jumet organisation is an innovative development and production facility of ABB that manufactures active filters and battery energy storage systems to support a stable grid. To test these systems we have acquired two Cinergia GE/EL +120kVA eplus units capable of doing grid emulation (AC + DC), operating as an electronic load (AC +DC) and being a battery emulator. We have experienced very good support from TTMS in obtaining these two Cinergia units. This included organising an on-site demonstration and supplying loan systems prior to the delivery of our final systems. This way we could start testing as early as possible. TTMS also organised training for the operators from the original manufacturer. This support allowed us to introduce the first battery energy storage systems even prior to the full delivery of the Cinergia systems."

“At the Energy and Environment department of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) of the University of Luxembourg we do have different research projects related to green energy contributing to the development of eco-cities. As a long-standing partner of our research unit, TT&MS has proven that they are able to answer even the most complex questions in a professional manner. They have shown that they are always up to date with the latest technology and do not spare any effort to look at the application and even the situation on site. The exchange of ideas was always very pleasant and took place quickly. We look forward to further years of fruitful cooperation.”
