The Chroma 61600 series three-phase AC power supplies are high capacity power supplies with a power range from 12 kVA to 90 kVA.
The output voltage (L-N) can be set for each phase between 0-150Vrms and 0-300Vrms and each phase can be set individually. The maximum current will be doubled in the low voltage range.
Because the angular rotation is also adjustable per phase, these 3-phase AC power supplies are also suitable for simulating an imbalance. The three separate phases can also be combined for the realization of a high-power single-phase power network. The frequency is adjustable from 15Hz to 1500Hz.
Due to the so-called directly linked output stage in this series, it is also possible to generate a DC or AC+DC output voltage.
There is also a possibility to set a slew rate for voltage and frequency for specific tests.
The high crest factor of these units ensures that they can very well be used in combination with short high peak currents.
All Chroma AC power supplies have a separate measurement function for the quantities U, I, Hz, W, VA, VAR and PF.

Characteristic for the Chroma 61600 Series three-phase AC power supplies are the low distortion and high stability of the adjustable AC voltage at the output.
The digital interfaces (RS232 + GPIB or USB + LAN) and the free software make the unit controllable and readable. Of course, there are also Labview drivers available if you want to integrate the unit into your own test setup. An optional analog input makes the 61600 series suitable for amplifier operation.
The capacity of the 61611 (12kVA) and 61612 (18kVA) can be extended with 18 kVA slave units. With up to four slave units, we can achieve a total capacity of no less than 90 kVA.
