The 780BH of Quantum Data is no longer available and has been replaced by the Quantum Data 780C.

The 780BH of Quantum Data is a portable video generator / video analyser for multimedia applications. The basis of the 780BH is an HDMI 1.4 video generator output and a VGA output for RGB signals and YCbCr. Through the HDMI output (300MHz clock) single link DVI can also be outputted (up to 165MHz). In addition, audio test signals are also available.

The unit is designed in a robust housing and with battery power supply, so you can also perform extensive field or remote testing. Operation is easy with the 7 inch touch screen. All common formats for both TV and PC monitors are provided as standard. You can also choose from more than 30 different test images, including 3D test images. If this is not sufficient, you can also create your own test images in the form of a bitmap image. EDID, HDCP (1.4 and 2.2) and CEC testing are standard.

Auto EDID is an option to test whether the source can handle this with alternating EDID. The 780BH also comes standard with the line analyzer (Rx). Allows incoming HDMI signals to be analyzed. Thanks to the 780BH’s large screen, the two lower lines give you a consistent view of the incoming HDMI video signals and the transmitted HDMI video signals. There is a cable test option, which allows you to test a complete connection (including repeaters, extenders, etc.) for quality. If you want to actually (passive) look along with the I2C communication between sink and source, then the Auxillary Channel analyzer is a good option.
