The 780 video generator/analyzer of Quantum Data has been replaced by the Quantum Data 780C and the Quantum Data 780E.
The 780 is a portable test tool for testing VGA and HDMI monitors and also HDMI 1.3 sources. The 780 is based on an HDMI 1.3 video generator output and a VGA output for RGB signals and YCbCr. The HDMI output can also be used to output single link DVI. In addition, an audio signal generator is provided.
The unit is designed in a robust housing and with battery power supply, so you can also perform extensive field or remote testing. Operation is easy with the 4.3 inch touch screen. All common formats for both TV and PC monitors are provided as standard. You can also choose from more than 30 different test images, including 3D test images. If this is not sufficient, you can also create your own test images in the form of a bitmap image. EDID, HDCP and CEC testing are standard. The test results via the report option are also available in HTML and TXT format for reporting.
The line analyzer option also allows you to analyze incoming HDMI signals. Optional is a cable test option, which allows you to test a complete connection (including repeaters, extenders, etc.) for quality. If you want to actually (passive) look along with the I2C communication between sink and source, then the Auxillary Channel analyzer is a good option. Any communication problems in the areas of EDID, CEC, HDCP and hot plug are displayed separately on the screen.
The 780 video generator / analyzer is part of the Quantum Data 780 series. In addition to the 780, this consists of five more models: 780E HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, HDBaseT, HDCP2.2. 780D HDMI 2.0, HDBaseT, VGA, HDCP2.2. 780C HDMI 1.4, 3G-SDI, HDBaseT, VGA, HDCP2.2. 780BH HDMI 1.4, VGA, HDCP2.2. 780AH HDMI 1.4, VGA, HDCP2.2.
For protocol analysis, EDID testing and HDCP compliance testing please refer to the 980B.

ABB
"The ABB Power Grids Jumet organisation is an innovative development and production facility of ABB that manufactures active filters and battery energy storage systems to support a stable grid. To test these systems we have acquired two Cinergia GE/EL +120kVA eplus units capable of doing grid emulation (AC + DC), operating as an electronic load (AC +DC) and being a battery emulator. We have experienced very good support from TTMS in obtaining these two Cinergia units. This included organising an on-site demonstration and supplying loan systems prior to the delivery of our final systems. This way we could start testing as early as possible. TTMS also organised training for the operators from the original manufacturer. This support allowed us to introduce the first battery energy storage systems even prior to the full delivery of the Cinergia systems."

“At the Energy and Environment department of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) of the University of Luxembourg we do have different research projects related to green energy contributing to the development of eco-cities. As a long-standing partner of our research unit, TT&MS has proven that they are able to answer even the most complex questions in a professional manner. They have shown that they are always up to date with the latest technology and do not spare any effort to look at the application and even the situation on site. The exchange of ideas was always very pleasant and took place quickly. We look forward to further years of fruitful cooperation.”
