Using the latest digital techniques and optimally designed analog front end, the Model 6000A from Clarke-Hess out-performs any other phase meter on the market today.
The unit automatically selects the proper range for both amplitude and phase and is waveshape independent. The user only needs to connect the two input cables to the phase meter to obtain a phase reading. Voltage Overrange or Underrange is indicated whenever either of the two input signals is too large or too small.
An OFFSET toggle on the front panel allows the user to make differential phase measurements without the need of subtracting large numbers. The Model 6000A is galvanically isolated from ground and from channel to channel.
The Model 6000A Phase Meter has an IEEE-488 interface and USB as standard features. Via these interfaces, the user can read the display, change the phase range, and check for input signal overrange or underrange, front panel selected offset and phase range.
The Model 6000A Phase Meter has two phase ranges: The 0º to 360º range and the ±180º range. Unlike the previous generation phase meters, this unit does not use “zero-cross-over” techniques to measure phase. The instrument uses a sophisticated Fourier Transform approach to derive the fundamental component of each of the two the input signals and then computes the phase difference between the two components. Harmonics and noise are effectively “filtered out”. This technique reduces errors significantly. The high accuracy of the Model 6000A Phase Meter is maintained not only for sinewaves but also for distorted and noisy waves. .

ABB

"The ABB Power Grids Jumet organisation is an innovative development and production facility of ABB that manufactures active filters and battery energy storage systems to support a stable grid. To test these systems we have acquired two Cinergia GE/EL +120kVA eplus units capable of doing grid emulation (AC + DC), operating as an electronic load (AC +DC) and being a battery emulator. We have experienced very good support from TTMS in obtaining these two Cinergia units. This included organising an on-site demonstration and supplying loan systems prior to the delivery of our final systems. This way we could start testing as early as possible. TTMS also organised training for the operators from the original manufacturer. This support allowed us to introduce the first battery energy storage systems even prior to the full delivery of the Cinergia systems."

“At the Energy and Environment department of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) of the University of Luxembourg we do have different research projects related to green energy contributing to the development of eco-cities. As a long-standing partner of our research unit, TT&MS has proven that they are able to answer even the most complex questions in a professional manner. They have shown that they are always up to date with the latest technology and do not spare any effort to look at the application and even the situation on site. The exchange of ideas was always very pleasant and took place quickly. We look forward to further years of fruitful cooperation.”
