The IT-M3100 ultra compact DC power supplies house a lot of power and precision in a very compact housing of ½ 19″ rack width and 1U height. The power supplies are available in six voltage ranges (20, 30, 80, 150, 300 and 600V) and then with a power output of 400W or 850W. For higher powers, up to 4 units can be connected in parallel (Master-Slave). These units are based on the constant power principle. For example, with the IT-M3112 model you have a power of 400W, a maximum voltage of 80V and a maximum current of 22A. At a voltage setting of 18.2V you still have the maximum power of 400W. This makes the power supply extremely flexible over a wide voltage / current range.

Thanks to the sophisticated multi-channel design of the IT-M3100, it is possible to control up to 16 units with a single connection interface completely independently of each other. This makes the IT-M3100 ideal for space-saving installation in automatic test systems where there is a need to generate multiple DC voltages simultaneously. Of course it is also possible to perform endurance tests on multiple devices or components simultaneously. Think of DC-DC converters and batteries. But also for automatic functional testing of multiple motherboards rolling off the production line.

Battery Testing

Specifically for battery testing, the IT-M3100 has a battery function where it is possible to set and monitor parameters. These parameters include voltage, current, capacity and charging time. If parameters are exceeded, the power supply stops the charging cycle, thus guaranteeing a safe way of working. Due to the modular design and Itech‘s patented technology for side ventilation, the IT-M3100 is easily stackable without additional accessories. In this way, multiple power supplies can also be used on the test benches of design engineers for testing and developing electronic designs.


Easy programming of different variables per sequence in LIST mode and variable setting of the rise and fall times of the output current. High speed testing is also one of the extensive possibilities of the Itech IT-M3100 series. Communication is possible with the RS232, RS485, CAN, LAN, USB_TMC and VCP interfaces.

To test these systems we have acquired two Cinergia GE/EL +120kVA eplus units capable of doing grid emulation (AC + DC), operating as an electronic load (AC +DC) and being a battery emulator.
