Temperature sensors
The SPRTs and standard thermocouples, temperature sensors, from Isotech are a household name in the world of metrology. They cover a large part of the ITS-90, which ranges from -259℃ to 962℃.
In practice, the Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers, SPRTs, are constructed to subtract sub ranges from the ITS-90. The SPRTs are available in different constructions for different application areas. For example, Isotech recommends the 670 series as SPRT for the primary lab and the 909 family for the secondary lab. These series cover the area from -200℃ to 670℃. For the higher temperatures up to 961.78℃, the freezing point of silver, Isotech offers the 96178 HTSPRT.
Although thermocouples are no longer part of the temperature scale, they are widely used in calibration laboratories.
With thermocouples can become a significantly higher temperature municipality.
Isotech supplies standard thermocouples up to 1600℃ of platinum/platinum rhodium or platinum/gold materials.
The SPRTs can be supplied with a UKAS certificate.
