DVI video generators / analyzers

DVI video generators / analyzers with only a DVI output are less and less common. Usually we see combinations with other outputs (RGB, s-Video etc.) and/or video generators with an HDMI output that can also simulate DVI. For DVI we have some variants: single link DVI up to 165MHz pixel clock or dual link DVI up to 330MHz pixel clock.

With the 780 series you have a nice combination of video outputs and analyze. Single link DVI, HDMI up to 2.0 in the 780E, HDBaseT and DisplayPort 1.2.
The 804 series only gives you video outputs. Four times a HDMI (up to 2.0) / DVI single link output, one RGB output and CVBS.
With the Quantum Data 881D and 882D we have a video generator with both an RGB output up to 400MHz, a dual link DVI output up to 330MHz and an HDMI output up to 165MHz and optionally an SDI / HD-SDI output.

In DVI simulation with HDMI outputs it should be taken into account that despite the high clock speed of the HDMI chipset (up to 600MHz at HDMI 2.0), the DVI output is limited to a maximum clock speed of 165MHz. (This is a hardware limitation).
